北京市京南应用技术研究所是北京市高新技术企业。

　　北京市京南应用技术研究所是北京市高新技术企业。工厂座落于中 关村科技园区生物医药基地，研发基地位于二环内的北京市区中心。

本所由军工企业转制而来，主要员工长期从事军用光学研究，并承担了国家“导弹、卫星、坦克、 战车”等军工科研和生产任务。本所以雄厚的军工技术为后盾，以科技造福人类为目标，坚持"以质量求生存，以品牌求发展"，通过了iso9000国际质量体系认证，从原料采购、加工生产到检验出厂都有严格的检测和监控制度，为了保证产品质量，新建了数千米高级无尘厂房、引进世界最先进的真空镀膜生产线和光谱测试仪器，九项科研成果获得中华人民共和国科技进步奖，并有二十多项授权专利。

本所荣获中国保护消费者基金会"产品和服务双优企业"、中国质量检验会"打假扶优重点保护企 业"，并在人民大会堂被授予"用户满意产品"光荣称号。本所的"金吉"商标在北京数十万品牌中出类拔萃，与联想、同仁堂等被北京市工商局授予北京市著名商标。

　　The former institute was mainly engaged with military industry and eventually transferred into a commercial company. Our senior engineers have been researching and developing military- purpose optics for a long time and have been involved with projects for the production of missiles, satellite, tanks. Our company is a long term partner supplier to the nation. Such supplies include coating parts of tank night-vision equipment, infantry combat vehicles, surface-to-air missile, helicopter screen, etc.

The institute owns more than twenty patents and has won nine national PRC technology development awards. The newly built ‘no dust’ high class plant, specks test equipment and the world’s most advanced coating machine are also put to use, which increases the productivity into 3 times.
